TOKYO: NexTech Week 2023, a B2B exhibition of 300 top digital/IT companies and potential buyers from manufacturing, logistics, finance and distribution, was held from May 10 to 12 at the Tokyo Big Sight exhibition center in Tokyo.

More than 25,000 visitors attended the event that featured cutting-edge digital/IT presentations and information on howthese technologies can be utilized. 

The high-tech show consisted of “AI Expo,” “Blockchain Expo,” “Quantum Computing Expo” and “DX (digital transformation) Human Response Development Expo.”

The emergence of AI generating platforms such as ChatGPT (OpenAI from the United States) and Stable Diffusion (Stability AI from the United Kingdom) is transforming the future of businesses and people’s daily lives.

“Generating AI” is the process of creating or developing artificial intelligence systems and the creation or generation of AI models, algorithms or systems that possess the ability to perform intelligent tasks and make decisions similar to or in collaboration with human intelligence.

“We are already embracing a period of industry transformation,” said Chen Chih-Hsuan, international marketer with the exhibition organizer RX Japan.
