Japanese motor company Suzuki and its agent in Saudi Arabia, Najeeb Auto, have opened the manufacturer’s main branch in Riyadh, the capital city of the Kingdom.

The launch was attended by Suzuki’s deputy general manager for global marketing, Koichi Suzuki, who stressed the company’s desire to expand its activities in Saudi Arabia, following the successful opening of its Jeddah branch in 2019.

He told Arab News: “We are pleased to open this branch in the most important and vital city in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, which is witnessing an economic renaissance and remarkable growth recently.

“It is filled with large numbers of young men and women for whom Suzuki vehicles may be desirable, as they come in such an array of different types and sizes, and are all very economical,” he added.

The chairman of Najeeb Auto, Najeeb bin Abdulattif Alissa, gave a speech in which he expressed his happiness at the success of the strategic partnership between the two companies, and hinted that a third outlet, in Dammam, was planned to open in the near future.

Suzuki is a global leader in the production of small cars, a world-renowned maker of motorcycles, and the 12th largest auto manufacturer overall, with over 35 factories in 23 countries, and 133 distributors.
