DUBAI: The Equalizer 3, the final installment of The Equalizer trilogy, premiered in Dubai on August 29.

Organized by Reel Cinemas and Empire Entertainment, the Dubai Mall premiere was packed with fans who were excited to the final chapter of the trilogy on the big screen.

A huge showcase of the film at Burj Khalifa was held prior to the film premiere, with many people gathering at Dubai Fountains to witness it.

The movie is starring Denzel Washington as retired U.S. Marine and former DIA officer Robert McCall, with Dakota Fanning, David Denman, Sonia Ammar, and Remo Girone in supporting roles. 

In the final chapter of the gripping installment, McCall takes the audience on an intense journey of redemption, justice, and unrelenting action.

Waleed K Hmidan, an award-winning filmmaker, shared his feedback regarding the film saying, “The Equalizer 3 is not a standard action film. While it takes a while for the action to pick up, when it does, it’s John Wick level performances that make up for their scarcity.”

“Denzel Washington was phenomenal as always, and a better part of the film is about delving into his character’s mindset and being welcomed in a new community,” he added. 

Filming for the movie began on October 10, 2022 on the Amalfi Coast in Italy and continued in the region until November 20, after which it moved to Naples in early December, before wrapping production by January 2023, in Rome.
