ABU DHABI: The Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship (ADXC), a groundbreaking event in the world of combat sports that aims to channel the highest standards of jiu-jitsu, is taking place on Oct. 20 at the Mubadala Arena as a part of Showdown Week.
In collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Jiu Jitsu Pro (AJP), the event promises an unforgettable spectacle for devoted fans. The one of a kind event will bring the strategy and intricacies of jiu-jitsu together alongside the raw intensity of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), designed to make way for aggressive play.

The ADXC adopts an innovative mechanism for selecting outstanding players, including invitation cards based on specific criteria governed by the tournament’s organizing committee regulations.
The championship has developed a set of innovative rules that focus on excellence in combat strategies, moving away from traditional standards. These rules aim to create an environment that motivates athletes to continue developing their skills and abilities. The event will feature 14 matches.
The ADXC card is loaded with top-tier talent, including Zayed Alkhateeri, Tayane Porfírio, Luiza Monteiro, Fellipe Andrew, and many more. The preliminary bouts promise intense action, with standout matches such as Abdul-Kareem Al-Sewady vs. Islam Reda and Marcin Held vs. Guram Kutateladze, among others.
Additionally, the women’s Gi duels at ADXC will showcase the incredible talents of Luiza Monteiro, Nathalie Ribeiro, Sarah Galvão, and Vitória Gabriella, providing a thrilling start to the event.
