Dubai’s latest Japanese fine dining sensation, Salvaje, got the year 2024 off to a bang by opening its doors on January 4 to food lovers in the bustling heart of Dubai.

Straight from Madrid’s lively culinary scene, this hotspot is here to redefine Japanese dining in the city.

Chef Azkue, raised in the historical city of the Spanish capital, has always wanted to bring his passion for food to the global community. To further that goal, the chef has relocated himself to Dubai, to bring authentic culinary culture to your neighborhood.

Salvaje is already a hit in global cities like Miami and Paris, and now it is bringing its unique ‘wild side’ of Japanese gastronomy into Downtown Dubai.

The brainchild of Chef Fermin Azkue, the restaurant blends traditional Japanese flavours with a twist that’s perfect for Dubai’s diverse palate.

“Salvaje is a new proposal that we have here in the city. It is a blend of Asian-Japanese and mediterranean fusion,” says Chef Azkue.

As soon as you step into Salvaje, you’re in for a visual treat.

The decor is a bold mix of animal prints and lavish chandeliers, creating an ambience that’s both elegant and playful.

It’s more than a restaurant; it’s a feast for the senses.

With live performances by dancers, DJs, and musicians, Salvaje is where fine dining meets fun.

However, Salvaje is not just about the glitz and glam. The menu is quite the journey through Japanese cuisine.

Expect vibrant fusion flavours that promise to tantalise your taste buds, along with pure Japanese cuisine that is hundreds of years old.

From sushi rolls to grills and barbeques, traditional liqueur, and smoked dishes, there is something for everyone.

“Salvaje has a menu to which we add and experiment with products and gastronomy of each location and culture,” added Chef Azkue.

Here, don’t expect just a meal, but an experience that combines great food with an electric atmosphere.

Ready to dive into a new kind of Japanese dining?

Salvaje is located at The Address Opera Residences. Open daily from noon till the stars shine, it’s where Dubai’s food lovers will be heading next.
