DUBAI: With less than 500 days left for the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, some countries have begun constructing their pavilions in preparation.
One of those countries is Kuwait, which recently received the land lot to build the Kuwaiti pavilion in Osaka.
This step, according to an Instagram post from the Kuwait Embassy in Japan, “constitutes a step further on the course of participating in this global event to highlight the Kuwaiti society’s rich folklore and established traditions.”
While there have been calls for the postponement of the Expo in Osaka due to rising costs and labour shortages, several countries, such as Saudi Arabia, France, the USA and Italy, have already announced their design plans for their pavilions.
