Have you ever wanted to wander through a sea of cherry blossoms? Then how about a trip to Japan for the Cherry Blossom festival.

This year the cherry blossom season in Japan is expected to peak from late March to early April, particularly in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka.

TrekkUp, a UAE based adventure group travel company, is organizing a 7-day trip to the Land of the Rising Sun for UAE residents.

“Crafting the ultimate journey to Japan has been a labour of love, and we’re thrilled to witness it (literally) blossom into a beloved choice for our clients. As the interest in this wonderful country is substantial, we are looking forward to expanding our Japan portfolio,” said Piotr Bural, the founder-CEO of Trekkup, when contacted on phone.

For those living in the UAE the cost is AED 8,900 (¥ 355,814) which includes 3+ star accommodations throughout, and all transfers of location. However, flights are not included in the package.

Tokyo, where ancient temples meet neon skyscrapers, will be the ideal start to the tour, followed by a trip to the Imperial Palace and a tour of the Sensoji Temple.

The famous panoramic views of Mount Fuji, a sumo wrestling match, a trek to the iconic Nakasendo, which has been in use for over 300 years, are some of the other attractions.

If that is not all then the architectural marvels of ancient temples, the art of the geisha and the tranquillity of Zen gardens in Kyoto is simply mesmerising for anyone to miss.

A trip on the famed Shinkansen (bullet train), and a visit to the Todaiji Temple, which houses the Great Buddha, one of the largest bronze statues in the world, is incomplete before it’s time to bid sayonara.

The trip guarantees an enchanting experience of hanami magic. In Japanese, “hana” means flower and “mi” means to watch or look at. So, the Hanami festival literally is a flower viewing festival.
