DUBAI: POP MART and Uniqlo UT unveiled a collaborative T-shirt collection inspired by The Monsters, the popular character universe created by Hong Kong artist Kasing Lung.

At the center of the capsule is Labubu, the quirky figure who has gained cult status among collectors and fans across the globe.

The collection, part of Uniqlo’s UT (Uniqlo T-shirts) graphic series, includes several T-shirt designs available in black, white, gray and pink. The pieces blend minimal and playful design elements, showcasing the charm of The Monsterland universe.

Highlights include: A minimalist tee featuring the “The Monsterland” logo across the chest, a white shirt with The Monsters characters printed on the back, a black tee with a colorful square design and the phrase “We Are The Monsters”, and a soft pink option featuring a Labubu graphic from the franchise

The collaboration comes as Labubu continues to dominate toy shelves and social media timelines, propelled by the success of POP MART’s blind box collectibles. The figures, some of which fetch high prices on resale markets, have grown from niche appeal to pop culture staple.

The POP MART x Uniqlo UT “The Monsters” collection is set to launch in mid-August in Japan, with a global release expected to follow. T-shirts will retail at an accessible price point, starting around ¥1,500 (around $10 USD).
