Japanese brand BEAMS is collaborating with electronics company Citizen to release a wristwatch inspired by the 1982 version of the watch.
The collaborative Ana-Digi Temp watch originally released 40 years ago and featured a variety of modern elements.
The silver wristwatch utilized an automatic calendar, a functioned measuring temperature, and a revolutionary ‘dual time’ feature, which two different time zones were programmed into analog clocks alongside a digital clock for precise times.
The latest piece honors the older watch’s design, with a face choice of either black or white. The wristwatch also offers a backdrop for the piece’s alarm, a ‘dual time’ feature and a thermostat.
Other details include four buttons placed on the sides of the watch and a tiny speaker near the “Ana-Digi Temp.”
The watch can be pre-ordered through BEAMS’ website, for the price of about ¥26,400 JPY or $245 USD. It will be available later in June.
