Baskin Robbins have launched two new Pikachu inspired flavours, giving their line of ice creams a playful twist.

Customers have the option of choosing between scoops being served in Pikachu themed reusable plastic cups and spoons, or more interestingly, a Poké Ball.

There’s a catch, customers have to purchase six scoops, to get their hands on these Poké Balls as they’re part of the Pokémon Ice Cream Master Set– the packaging they’re sold in also opens up into a playable boardgame.

The Triple Soda flavour is a mixture of melon, cola, and ice cream, topped off with Pikachu cookies.

Where as, the Pikachu Thunderbolt Fruit Mix includes a blend of pineapples, peach, banana, apple, orange cream and Pop Rock candies.

Aside from ice cream, customers can choose to purchase a Pikachu themed ice cream cake that is sectioned off into  flavours like caramel, strawberry, and chocolate.

Initially, these desserts were meant to be introduced in alignment with the release of the Pokémon Movie: Coco that was postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
