Japanese food company Nissin is offering a Cup Noodle Rolling Stock service that allows customers to subscribe and receive packages of food to be stored in case of an emergency.
Nissin’s box set is priced at ¥13,000 JPY ($122) and offers customers a full set of items to allow for food preparation and consumption.
The box includes a compact stove, a gas cylinder, aluminium pot, gloves, three litres of water, a solar light, and forks along with the noodles.
The service will send nine variations of cup noodles, every three months to ensure ample food is stockpiled.
The package also includes two straps to transition the box into a rucksack for ease of travel, alternatively it can also be assembled as a stool in case of evacuation.
Nissin assures that the box is durable as it is made of plastic cardboard.
