Japanese tennis star and current US Open champion, Naomi Osaka, has teamed up with Japan’s major fashion company Comme des Garcons who have collaborated with Nike to release their new sneakers.
Naomi, who recently became the highest-paid female athlete ever, will be the first one to use the new product.
For her debut sneaker with the Swoosh, Naomi, has given the shoe a personal touch. The former world No. 1 tennis player, who lives in the US, added her signature on the side of the shoe with the phrase “Home is where the heart is” scrawled across in her handwriting.
The shoe is elevated by a slightly off-white tone solid-rubber sole which utilizes the model’s ’77 variant as a base.
Although no official pricing has surfaced but talk is that it would be priced at ¥12,400 JPY ($120 US).
