Furniture retail company, IKEA, are localizing their product offering in Japan by selling a range of matcha food items to customers until June 27 for the annual Matcha Sweets Fair.

“Enjoy a relaxing time with fragrant matcha sweets. From pancakes that you can enjoy with warabi mochi and azuki beans, to smooth Matcha Anmitsu, to rich brownies, tart, and scones, we have introduced a menu where you can fully enjoy the rich taste of matcha. Please enjoy the menu,” the official website states.

Some of their other items include the matcha bagel, traditional matcha tea, matcha soft serve, a matcha sundae, and a matcha muffin.

One of their other unique treats include the Matcha TUNNBROD, made using Swedish flatbread as a base topped with cream, fruit, matcha tart, and adzuki red bean paste.

The prices for these menu options range from ¥299 for the Matcha Anmitsu to ¥399 for the tart. The pancake tower is priced at ¥699 or ¥499 for IKEA Family members.

IKEA’S Shibuya branch offers other food, like Swedish meatballs, potato salad, salmon, mashed potato, including carrot cake, berry cheesecake and a donut fruit sandwich.
