After being postponed last year, The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) will be held from Sept. 27 to Oct. 3 at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

This year’s edition of ADIHEX features 680 companies, brands from 44 countries including 319 local exhibitors, as well as 32 governmental and official entities. More than 20 local and international falconry clubs, associations and institutions will come together at the event.

This year will also include the most diverse and rich activities. There will be around 90 live activities, interesting competitions, and heritage and sports performances as well about 50 educational workshops.

More than 125 Emirati, Arab and international artists will display their creativity in the arts and crafts sector.

Majid Ali Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee and Secretary General of Emirates Falconers’ Club said in a speech about ADIHEX 2021: “The years 2020 and 2021 were very confusing for all countries, and perhaps what we missed most in this unprecedented global crisis is our mass activities and social communication, but hope never disappeared and enthusiasm remained.”

“This is while we look at the positive side of the pandemic on wildlife and the environment in general, and reach to the conclusion that if we work together and plan carefully, we can continue to build, invent and grow as a civilization, and protect our natural environment for future generations,” he added.

The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) also “reaffirms its well-known position at the regional and international levels” and continues to play a major role in the promotion of sustainable hunting, bringing together hunting enthusiasts in all its aspects and lovers of horses, camels, heritage and art.

“While the Japanese pavilion in the (ADIHEX 2019) edition won the admiration and appreciation of visitors, the exhibition signed a broad partnership agreement with The Game Fair in the United Kingdom, where many British companies are present at this year’s Abu Dhabi exhibition, reflecting the keenness to enhance cultural exchange as an essential element in the development of civilization, the celebration of the ancient British heritage, and the embodiment of the strong historical ties between the two friendly countries”.

The exhibition will be held for 7 days, and will also bring together major brands, and specialized companies to exchange knowledge and experiences, as well as to launch new products and services, expand businesses, conduct business deals and meet clients and industry figures face to face according to Al Mansouri.

Omar Fouad Ahmad, Manager and director of ADIHEX exhibition and Projects Director at Emirates Falconers’ Club shared with Arab News Japan how there were “challenges for everyone at the events industry due to the COVID-19 pandemic that resulted in the cancellation and postponement of many events since last year. Thankfully, we benefited and improved our connections with the participants and exhibitors to return with a new edition ADIHEX that brings new ideas and products to the event.”

New participants and old participants are welcome to attend ADIHEX which will be held safely as COVID-19 safety measures are in place. Visitors must show a PCR test taken within 48 hours in order to enter.
