Japanese frozen dessert brand, Akagi Nyugyo Co., has concocted an ice cream bar named “kajiru batā aisu” that has gained ample recognition due to its butter flavour.

The ice cream is priced at ¥140 JPY  ($1.28), and is made using butter derived from Hokkaido sourced milk, enhancing the product’s flavour and quality.

Akagi Nyugyo Co. is popular for their many frozen desserts including their soda flavoured popsicle, orange tasting popsicle made with chunks of fruit, the Milcrea, shaved ice in a cup and a parfait, among others.

The company values their contribution to creating treats that are “full of the stuff of children’s dreams,” their official website states.

Akagi Nyugyo Co. aims to continually create products that embody playfulness.

“Whether its conceptualizing, creating, or delivering our products, we will continue prioritizing this playful spirit. This is because we know that you, our customers, are with us on this! At the same time, Akagi Nyugyo will also keep implementing this playfulness with the utmost of seriousness,” their website shares.
