Popular Japanese restaurant, SUSHIRO, renowned for offering a convenient, delicious, and family-friendly culinary experience, has opened its doors at the long-anticipated Dubai Expo.

The Expo branch has maintained the same quality of food similar to that served at SUSHIRO’s other branches and have asserted that while the food is made using ingredients fresh from Japan the restaurant is still conveniently priced.

Project leader Chizuru Komatsu, shares how sushi has a history of being too expensive and thus inaccessible to the masses, but SUSHIRO counteracts that by creating “tasty sushi for all.”

The restaurant has an extensive menu offering that promotes authentic Japanese sushi that encourages diners to savour the taste of the fish, and ingredients.

Customers visiting should try the tuna sushi, which is more reasonably priced than higher-end sushi restaurants, encouraging people to eat as much as they want, Komatsu told Arab News Japan.

They serve standard nigiri as well as more unique options like seared shrimp with basil cheese. SUSHIRO also serves various Gunkan as well as rolls that range from simple options like eel with cucumber, jumbo shrimp tempura rolls, and Dragon Rolls.

As someone from Japan, Komatsu highlights how SUSHIRO is very different from the sushi that is widely available in the UAE, but they do still offer rolls tailored for the local market.

“I really like to spread our authentic Japanese sushi to the UAE” so “more people can know about authentic Japanese” flavours, Komatsu told Arab News Japan.

A majority of SUSHIRO’s ingredients are imported from Japan, offering an added layer of authenticity to the overall dining experience.

SUSHIRO’s ambiance was also carefully constructed to tie into their overall culinary mission, opting to use a high-tech revolving lane to serve dishes that strategically times how long a dish is available on the belt to preserve its freshness.

Customers can also find diagrams placed on the walls demonstrating the special technique used to prepare and make sushi.

While at first, the restaurant attracted primarily Japanese customers now a melting pot of people line up to taste the food, Komatsu shared.
