DUBAI: Saudi Anime Exhibition, kicking off in Riyadh Season 2022, is organizing a Cosplay competition on Oct. 27, for both local and international contestants who enjoy dressing up as anime characters.

On the global side, the competition includes qualifiers for the World Cosplay Summit by presenting the contestants to a specialized committee of experts and specialists to qualify and win the World Cup held in Japan, while on the local side, there are prizes amounting to SAR50,000 or about 22 million Japanese Yen.

The management of Riyadh Season 2022 has allowed the public to register for the World Summit qualifiers and for the general cosplay competition, provided that registration is completed before the end of Oct. 24.

The cosplay competition will take place on Oct. 27-29 as part of the activities of Saudi Anime Exhibition, which presents more than 30 experiences of the best and most famous anime shows. The exhibition lasts for three days. It opens its doors from 4 pm until 12 midnight on Thursday and from 3 pm until 12 midnight on Friday and Saturday.
