

DUBAI: UAE minister of foreign affairs, Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan visited UAE students studying in Japan as part of his working visit to Tokyo on June 11.
During the meeting, Al Nahyan ensured the students their country’s full support and appreciation for their efforts and perseverance to striving and achieving academic excellence.
Al Nahyan also highlighted their role of being Emirati ambassadors to Japan and magnified the importance of their appearance as a huge aspect of demonstrating and reflecting the values, customs, and traditions of the UAE society.
Four panel discussions were held with the students as part of the meeting as well; assistant minister for economic and trade affairs, Saeed Mubarak Al Hajri, assistant minister for advanced sciences and technology affairs at the ministry of foreign affairs, Omran Sharaf, assistant minister of foreign affairs for health, Maha Barakat, UAE ambassador to Japan, Shehab Ahmed Al Fahim all spoke about diverse topics ranging from strategic relations between the UAE and Japan to the UAE’s future plans and initiatives in the development sector.
In return, the students expressed their joy and gratitude to be receiving further assurance and support from their country and that they aspire to be taking part in driving the UAE’s development and prosperity in various sectors.
