DUBAI: Twitter announced recently that its new feature ‘Community Notes’ is now officially available in Japan.
Community notes allow users to leave notes on any Tweet and if enough contributors from different points of view rate that note as helpful, the note will be publicly shown on a Tweet. Its aim is to correct any misleading tweets.
On Twitter, the official account said that after testing the feature in Japan and seeing it being proven “useful,” it will officially be available to everyone in the world.
🇯🇵 https://t.co/g794sK5GZe
