
AMMAN: Japanese Foreign Minister HAYASHI Yoshimasa visited Jordan’s city of As-Salt on Monday to enhance Jordanian-Japanese cooperation and to visit the projects implemented in the city with Japan’s support.
The Mayor of the Greater As-Salt Mohammed Al-Hiyari received the Japanese FM along with the Balqa Governorate Tourism Provider Imad Al-Rawahneh, the Director of the As-Salt Reconstruction Foundation Khaldoun Khreisat, the Director of Balqa Antiquities Arwa Musaed, the Director of the Local Community Service Unit at Al-Balqa Applied University, Dr. Nasser Club, and a representative of the Balqa Governorate Council, Shaha Al-Nsour.
According to Jordan’s Roya TV, the Director of Tourism of Balqa Governorate gave a brief explanation of the role of the Directorate of Tourism in promoting the city.
The Director of the As-Salt Reconstruction Foundation also gave a detailed explanation of the city’s historical and heritage value.
