DUBAI: IWAI Fumio, the Japanese ambassador to Saudi Arabia, posted a special message to congratulate King Salman, the government, and the people on the occasion of the 93rd Saudi National Day. 

IWAI expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Kingdom in a sincere message he shared on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Moreover, the Japanese ambassador appeared on the Saudi news channel Al Saudiya, where he said he feels incredibly happy to live in the Kingdom. He shared that the Saudi and Japanese people have many similarities, such as showing respect to the elderly.

The hosts gave the ambassador a bisht, traditional men’s cloak worn during weddings or special occasions, to wear for the National Day.
