TOKYO: Jordan’s Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh met Japan’s Defense Minister KIHARA Minoru on Monday during his trip to Japan.

Kihara thanked Jordan for its extended support to the Japanese Air Self-Defense Forces planes that helped evacuate Japanese people from Gaza and Israel.

Khasawneh confirmed Jordan’s continued cooperation between the two countries’ defense authorities on security and intelligence issues.

Japan’s Defense Minister also expressed his condolences for the death of Jordan’s Princess Rajwa’s Saudi father.

Princess Rajwa and Jordanian Crown Prince Hussein got married in Amman on June 1 last year.
