
The Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Press Secretary released a statement on Saturday condemning the deadly concert hall attack that took place in Moscow on Friday, calling it a “shooting incident.”
“Regarding a shooting incident occurred at a commercial facility in Krasnogorsk, Moscow…Japan extends its sincere condolences to the bereaved families, and expresses its heartfelt sympathy to those who were injured,” the Foreign Ministry Press Secretary MAKI Kobayashi said in the statement.
At least 60 people have been killed and 145 have been injured after gunmen stormed a concert hall near Moscow in one of the deadliest attacks on Russia.

US intelligence confirmed a claim by Daesh that it was behind the attack, but a spokesman for investigators said that it was too early to make an assessment on who was behind the incident.
