The Japan National Tourism Organization has launched a multilingual coronavirus hotline, providing those who may be affected information services.
The services include information regarding measures that need to be taken when one thinks that they have been infected, self-protection measures to avoid contracting the virus, and contact numbers that can provide a list of hospitals in Japan that are able to provide testing and treatment for the virus.
The hotline is available in five languages: Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean, offering support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The multilingual advantage of the hotline is specifically beneficial for foreigners in Japan, allowing them to seek potentially needed help.
