TOKYO: Japanese Prime Minister KISHIDA Fumio visited the Embassy of Iran in Tokyo on Wednesday to sign a condolence book following the deaths of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.

After signing the Condolence Book, Prime Minister Kishida expressed his deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to Iran’s Ambassador Peiman Seadat and to the Government of Iran, the people of Iran and the bereaved families.

The two Iranian officials died in a helicopter crash on Sunday.
