TOKYO: Japan’s Foreign Ministry on Monday urged all Japanese nationals in Lebanon to evacuate from the country due to escalating fighting between Israel and Hezbollah.

In its Level 4 travel advisory, the ministry urged all Japanese nationals in Lebanon to secure safety and leave the country immediately while commercial flights are available. About 60 Japanese live in Lebanon, according to the ministry.
