Saudi Ambassador to Japan discusses future relations with Foreign Vice-Minister

TOKYO: Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs MATSUMOTO Hisashi received a courtesy call from Saudi Arabian Ambassador Ghazi Faisal S. Binzagr on Wednesday and discussed the future direction of the Strategic Partnership Council recently launched between the two countries.

Minister Matsumoto mentioned that this year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries and expressed the hope that the bilateral relationship between Japan and Saudi Arabia will further develop in various fields. 

Ambassador Binzagr expressed his gratitude for Matsumoto’s attendance at the recent Japan-Saudi Vision 2030 Ministerial Roundtable in Riyadh and expressed his expectation that the two countries will continue to cooperate in a wide range of fields.
