DUBAI: The UAE will hold the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) for the first time on Dec. 7, highlighting the growing cultural and educational ties between Japan and the UAE. 

On June 18, the Japan Foundation and the Continuing Education Center (CEC) signed an agreement to officially conduct the JLPT at the CEC, marking an important step for Japanese language learners in the UAE. 

Applications for the test will be accepted from July 15 to August 15. 

This initiative reflects the deepening relations between the two nations and offers an exciting opportunity for learners in the UAE to connect closely with Japan.
