
TOKYO: Japanese State Minister for Foreign Affairs FUJII Hisayuki received a courtesy call from Jordanian Ambassador-designate Nasser Shraideh on Wednesday and expressed gratitude for Jordan’s support in evacuating Japanese nationals from Israel due to the situation in the Middle East.
He also stated that Jordan plays an important role in the evolving international situation.
According to the Foreign Ministry, Ambassador-Designate Shraideh explained the latest situation on the ground and Jordan’s diplomatic efforts and said that Jordan sees Japan as a close and important partner.
The Jordanian Ambassador, who assumed his post in Tokyo recently, also expressed his appreciation for Japan’s support and said it was important to cooperate with Japan. They agreed to closely collaborate in various fields.
