TOKYO: Japanese Prime Minister SUGA Yoshihide said Tuesday that he is relieved to know that US President Donald Trump has left hospital after being treated for COVID-19.

Suga made the remarks in an executive meeting of his ruling Liberal Democratic Party. Trump returned to the White House on Monday after spending four days at a military hospital.
