TOKYO: At the Tokyo Station, a clock counts down the time remaining until the opening ceremony of the 2021 Olympic Games.

A few Asian tourists pose and take selfies in front of the Omega Chronometer where the number 50 is displayed as well as the number of hours between the present moment and the opening ceremony of the games.

Tokyo 2020 flags hang from streetlights and black taxis display Olympic and Paralympic Games logos on their doors with the slogan “start your impossible.”

In a choice of communication, those responsible for the organization of the Olympics have not updated the year of 2021 on the artefacts, the games should have taken place in 2020 and have been postponed to 2021, without nowhere it  there is no mention of it.

Near the National Olympic Stadium, hydrangeas are blooming, a few passers-by linger to take pictures near the Olympic rings, a group of comical women are dressed in traditional costumes, one of the women is wearing a Kimono with the logo of the Olympic Games.

These three women say they have been coming to the same place in front of the Olympic stadium once a day for three years, until the Olympic Games.

Unlike the 100 days of the ceremony, there will be no illuminations of the planned Olympic venues or fireworks. Tokyo still remains under state of emergency due to the continuing coronavirus pandemic in Tokyo.
