TOKYO: Egyptian Ambassador to Japan Ayman Kamel on Wednesday paid a courtesy call on Japan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Takako Suzuki at the Foreign Ministry in Tokyo.
“Ambassador Ayman Kamel at the outset of the meeting reported his departure and thanked the Government of Japan for the support he received for various activities during his tenure,” a statement by the Foreign Ministry said.
In response, Deputy Minister Suzuki praised ambassador Kamel for the expansion of cooperation between Japan and Egypt through his vigorous diplomatic activities such as efforts to strengthen economic relations between the two countries.
