TOKYO: Japan’s Foreign Minister HAYASHI Yoshimasa held telephone talks on Feb. 3 with Hossein Amir Abdollahian, Foreign Minister of Iran for 20 minutes, the Foreign Ministry in Tokyo said.
The Ministers exchanged views on the bilateral relationship between Japan and Iran, and also exchanged views on the situation surrounding Iran and the Middle East, both sides decided to continue close communication, according to the ministry.
Hayashi held similar talks with Saudi Arabia and the UAE recently in which he condemned the recent Houthis attacks.
