The vice chairman of China’s political advisory body Wan Gang will attend former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s state funeral on Tuesday, the Chinese foreign ministry said on Friday.

Abe was fatally shot while giving a campaign speech on a street corner in the western city of Nara in July.
