SEOUL: North Korea fired a ballistic missile toward the Sea of Japan on Wednesday, the South Korean military said.

Japan’s Cabinet Secretariat said that an object believed to be a ballistic missile was launched from North Korea.

According to the Japan Coast Guard, the object is believed to have already fallen.
