TOKYO: Japanese Prime Minister KISHIDA Fumio on Thursday expressed his appreciation to visiting Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau for Poland’s cooperation in realizing his visit to Ukraine in March.
“I’m glad that the relations between Japan and Poland are developing in various fields,” based on the two countries’ strategic partnership, Kishida said in their meeting at the prime minister’s office.
Poland will continue working with Japan to deal with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Rau said, expressing hopes for Japan’s leadership as chair of the Group of Seven summit in the western city of Hiroshima from May 19.
