TOKYO: The Japanese government is vigilant against a possible military spy satellite launch by North Korea, Chief Cabinet Secretary Hirokazu Matsuno said Monday.
The government “will make full efforts to collect and analyze information and conduct monitoring and surveillance activities,” Matsuno said at a press conference.
His remarks came after Pyongyang announced a plan to successfully launch a military reconnaissance satellite “in a short span of time” following a failure in late May.
