The Israeli Ministry of Health issued a statement on the 21st of February saying that out of the 11 Israelis who returned home on a small charter aircraft after disembarking the cruise ship "Diamond Princess", which had a large number of people infected with the new coronavirus, one woman revealed a positive response to the infection.

This is the first time a positive result has been confirmed in that country.

The extent of the symptoms is unknown, but no tests were positive before leaving Japan on the 20th. The eleven moved from a charter aircraft that landed at an airport in Israel to a hospital near Tel Aviv, where they were examined again.

There were no positive reactions from the other 10 people. According to Israeli media, the hospital will be kept quarantined for a two-week follow-up. There were 15 Israelis on board the cruise ship. Four of them were treated in Japan because of a positive reaction before leaving Japan.

The Australian government also announced on August 21 that two of the Australian passengers who returned after leaving the cruise ship tested positive for the new virus. Both of them don't have serious symptoms.
