DUBAI: The UAE confirmed 393 new coronavirus cases after carrying out 38,000 additional tests, bringing the total number of infections to 44,145, state news agency WAM reported.

Two people also died from virus complications, taking the UAE death toll to 300, WAM quoted health officials.

The health ministry added that 755 people recovered from the illness, raising the total number of recoveries to 30,996.
