DUBAI: Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Walid bin Abdullah Bukhari received Japan’s Ambassador to Lebanon Takeshi Okubo at his residence in Yarze on Tuesday.

The two ambassadors discussed current political developments in the region and internationally, as well as their common interests.

Ambassador Okubo published a Twitter post on the same day saying: “The talks were very wonderful during my meeting today with His Excellency the Saudi Ambassador Waleed Al-Bukhari inside a beautiful tent in his house. The meeting covered various international and regional topics. Above all, I was impressed by his insightful analysis. I always value his generosity and respect.”

Ambassador Al-Bukhari also tweeted pictures of their meeting along with the caption: “I had the honor this morning to meet with my friend, the Japanese ambassador to Lebanon, Takeshi Okubo. During the meeting, a review of the current political developments on the local, regional and international arenas was presented.”
