DUBAI: Tehran has reported an explosion at an oil pipeline in Southern Iran, Tasnim News Agency said on Wednesday – adding that the blast happened because the infrastructure was old.
“This accident did not lead to any casualties,” a local official from the oil-rich province of Khuzestan told state media, adding that the fire had now been put out.
The explosion created small tremors that could be felt in the surrounding areas, Tasnim said.
