DUBAI: Delta Poseidon, one of the two Greek tankers seized by Iran, has been relocated to the northeast coast of Qeshm Island, shipping monitoring service TankerTrackers.com said on Saturday.
The tanker was moved from its previous location on Larak island, which has been one of Iran’s major oil export points since 1987.
“The two tankers are now separated by merely a nautical mile,” the online service, which tracks shipment and storage of crude oil, said on Twitter.

The second Greek tanker, Prudent Warrior, is reported to be in the anchorage off Bandar Abbas on the southern coast of Iran.
“We expect them to remain here for the duration of their captivity by the IRGC,” said TankerTrackers.com.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guards seized both tankers on May 27 while they were in Arabian Gulf waters in retaliation to American seizure of Iranian oil that was loaded on ship, and being held off the Greek coast.
Greek authorities had impounded the Iranian-flagged Pegas near the coast of the southern island of Evia before the US, which has imposed tough sanctions on Iran, confiscated the oil cargo.
