JEDDAH: The Saudi Ministry of Health said that two Indian sisters placed in quarantine after traveling to China in January and returning to the Kingdom on Feb. 3 have shown no signs of having contracted the novel coronavirus currently causing concern around the globe.

The two sisters left China on Jan. 12 and went to India, where they stayed for 21 days — longer than the incubation period of the virus. The two women had not visited the city of Wuhan where the coronavirus outbreak began.

Although no signs of infection have been detected, the medical isolation team have taken samples from the family’s house to be tested.
