The Saudi-Japan Vision 2030 program will help bridge the gap with Japanese businesses, Sultan Mofti, deputy governor of investment attraction at the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA), told Arab News Japan in an exclusive interview.
“That’s what we do at SAGIA, by offering a portfolio of more than 20 services to Japanese investors who are willing to invest in Saudi Arabia,” he said.
There are currently more non-traditional sectors that could further attract Japanese businesses, he added.
“Tourism is a relatively new sector that has opened, so Saudi Arabia is opening not just its doors for businesses, but its hearts for tourists,” Mofti said.
