Saudi Arabia’s royal court advisor, Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, said on Friday that the Kingdom will be one of the first countries to receive a coronavirus vaccine, Al Arabiya TV reported.

The current results on coronavirus vaccines are encouraging, Al-Rabeeah said, adding that the Saudi Arabia had been one of the countries providing financial support for research to develop vaccines for the virus.

The royal advisor said that Saudi Arabia would get the best vaccine developed for the virus and support fair distribution of  it.

Rabeeah, who is also the General Supervisor of KSRelief, said that Saudi Arabia had not stopped helping those in need in Houthi-controlled areas.

“Saudi humanitarian work includes everyone and is not linked to political agendas,” he said. Despite the Houthi militia’s looting of relief aid to sell on the black market, according to Rabeeah.
