DUBAI: The Ministry of Interior has concluded its participation in GITEX Technology Week 2020, which was held from Dec. 6-10 at the World Trade Center in Dubai, UAE.

Held under the theme “Technological Solutions for a Secure Nation,” the Kingdom’s pavilion showcased six main axes: ID and biometrics services, the ministry’s services for pilgrims and Umrah performers, the Makkah Route, the ministry’s field security services, its services for its employees and its internal community, in addition to initiatives in the field of creativity and innovation.

At the pavilion, Saudi citizens residing in the UAE were able to benefit from national identity services.

Prince Dr. Bandar bin Abdullah bin Mishari, assistant minister of interior for technology affairs, praised the efforts made by the organizations involved that showcased the Ministry’s state-of-the-art technologies and smart solutions provided for the Kingdom’s residents and citizens abroad.
