RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman announced on Monday that the Kingdom’s policy, under the leadership of King Salman, was on a firm approach based on achieving the supreme interests of GCC states and Arab countries.
The crown prince said the upcoming summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) would be a comprehensive summit, one that unified lines, reinforced the path of good and prosperity through the aspirations of King Salman and his brothers, the leaders of the GCC states and one of reuniting and solidarity in the face of challenges that the Middle East region is facing.
The crown prince also prayed for the security, stability, solidarity and cohesion of the GCC states, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The crown prince’s announcement came on the eve of the GCC summit to be held in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday and chaired by King Salman, and after Kuwait announced the Kingdom would reopen its borders and airspace to Qatar.
