Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan on Tuesday had a phone call with Moussa Faki Mahamat, the chairperson of the African Union Commission, to discuss attempts to end the violence.
The parties also discussed the importance of preventing the escalation of the conflict and protecting Sudanese civilians.
They also spoke about latest developments in the African continent, in addition to discussing regional and international matters and issues of common interest.
