DUBAI: Nayef Bin Marzouk Al-Fahadi, ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Japan, affirms the ties between Japan and Saudi Arabia are its strongest due to their alignment on visions, bilateral, and international relations.

Al-Fahadi also claims that the potent ties are a result of the shared will to establish the Saudi Japan Vision 2030, which was founded during the Saudi crown prince’s visit to Japan in 2016, and includes work on nine sectors namely food and agricultural security, media and entertainment, medical care, infrastructure, finance and investment, competitive industries, energy, building small and medium enterprises, culture, sports and education.

The Saudi ambassador praises the Japanese prime minister, KISHIDA Fumio, for his visit to the kingdom and asserts that it will further enhance and solidify Japan and Saudi Arabia bilateral relations leading to more cooperation between both countries in diverse aspects of the economy resulting in shared thriving economic growth and prosperity.

Official relations between Japan and Saudi Arabia were first established in 1955; Al-Fahadi claims that this marks the tightening of the relations between both countries as both nations are fully equipped to maintain internal, external, and mutual international stability and peace.
