Tokyo’s Metropolitan Government announced the launch of the ‘Virtual Edo-Tokyo Project,’ which is a digital space that will offer a one-of-a-kind digital experience.
Set to launch in January, the concept will allow visitors to immerse themselves in ‘real-life experiences’ recreated in the Edo era, the roots of modern Tokyo.
The ‘Virtual Edo-Tokyo Project’ is part of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s initiative to push forward ‘Sustainable High City Tech Tokyo,’ or ‘SusHi Tech Tokyo’ for short, a concept of creating sustainable new value.
The project will introduce past initiatives and events, and introduce the key highlights to promote the upcoming ‘SusHi Tech Tokyo 2024,’ a large-scale event to be held in the Tokyo Bay area from April to May next year.
